Another win for Marc Marquez; in spite of the pole and a nice fight with Marquez Bezzecchi could only finish third. Impressive second place by Aldeguer, Alex Marquez's team mate.
Bagnaia had a good start but eventually he still struggles with his bike.
In the top ten, there are four Ducati, two Aprilia, three KTM and one Honda - Ducati is not alone as some months ago, even though they score another 1-2 finish.

Again a perfect week-end for Marc Marquez (Saturday sprint and Sunday race).
While Marc Marquez's domination seems to be unchallenged, Ducati's superiority is not clear anymore: only three Ducati in the top ten, the others being only 6th (Morbidelli) and 9th (Bagnaia); others in top ten are three KTM, two Aprilia, one Honda and one Yamaha.

He can clinch the title the next race, right? Assuming his brother doesn't do well next round again. Hopefully he locks it up there in Spain.

Alex Marquez just delayed the championship conclusion - with his win in Catalunya, Marc cannot be titled in the next round (San Marino), as far as I understand. However, it's still very likely he will be titled before the end of the season...
Good result for Quartararo today (5th, good for the Yamaha I guess); Acosta made a tire gamble that did not pay off, so Bastianini took advantage of it.
Unfortunately Zarco crashed, but still, we have 5 manufacturers in the top 10 (Ducati, KTM, Yamaha, Aprilia, Honda).

I am thankful for DVRs. I am far behind in watching the championships. LOL, Can't even remember the track locations.
Just watched the Sprints from Sep 13 and Sep 06.
FWIW, I am enjoying these @13 lap races because of my time constraints.
M & A Marq.... jeez, I'll say again it must be the water they drink. What talents.
Quat... good qualifying, good initial laps, but then the "fade"; bike or rider? Still, Quat & Yamaha are my underdogs using USA betting language. He's doing okay, I suppose.
Jorge Martin... just wow, # 1 plate and just can't "get it all together". That preseason crash was f**ked.
Bag... I am speechless, M Marq, same bike and "kicking his a**". I don't know what to say, I'd speculate he can not adapt to a change of bike. The other speculation is he lost his passion.
Pedro and Agura, can I call them rookies? These two are talents.
Lastly, KTM. Well done, seems like a winning machine.

One more comment, in watching these races, there appeared to me to be more crashes than usual or expected. No spoilers from me. IMO these crashes seem related to front tire grip, perhaps front suspension tuning, although the riders are WFO all the time. I would love to see some new tech on those front tires.

Anyway, just a bunch of blah blah blah to keep the thread alive.
What I can not add is knowledge of the technology changes to the machinery during the season.

It would be quite the comeback script for Marc to clinch the title at the next race in Motegi. Honda's stomping grounds and their Honda Collection Hall on site with one of his old bikes on display. I visited there back in January and saw one of them there. Cool museum, but overall a letdown as the Senna F1 McLarens were replicas. Not sure if the bike was real either.
