This is a sincere question for those much more informed than myself (I'm not making a judgement call wither way) - is this truly a special, exceptional and coveted car because of the Michelotto customization, or should it simply be considered a post production modified car based on the desires of the original owner. If these modifications were done by any other shoppe, would be heralded?
The holy grail are factory original.. they are only original once.. This GTO is a very special car and will be converted by its next owner.. Even to own one of the 272 is a privilege
How time flies.. Morris Kessler driving 57223 out of the factory in 1985, flown back to Los Angeles June in 1985 my purchase inspection with Joe Sackey in August 2010, being detailed at home in 2025.. 4 Decades in a blink of an eye..

The Holy Grail of Ferrari's, the most pure Ferrari made in the last 45 years.. Beautiful from every angle.
Let's not talk about age, it doesn't make us any younger at all. Yes, it's one of the most beautiful ones along with the Testarossa and F40.
The main problem is being able to source a no stories car, money is the secondary factor, If you can find one that is say 25K and is a good car, so nice history and maintained with a few owners this would be around 6 million. but finding this out of the 272 is not an easy task. Thats the problem with the 288 GTO, lots have driven backwards over the years and have a story.. Thats why a lot are having total restorations now.. the pool is very small
No sorry Martin this pictureis not one of mine. I have some for others cars. I bought them during an event in Paris from a Italian passionate.
