Just in case there is an interest. I've gone for a fairly basic colour, Grigio Scuro. Not that imaginative, but I had it on a 296 and absolutely loved it, and also have seen it on a a few 812's and hoping it will translate well to the 12C.

First V12 for me so looking forward to it!

Grigio Scuro looks great on the 12Cilindri. Enjoy your first V12.

That Grigio Scuro looks fantastic!!! I am getting Nero Ds and looking at that color you picked makes me think about it more. I like yours since it differentiates the black front and rear more.

Grigio Scuro used to be an expensive paint option until a couple years ago, so consider it a rare gift from the marque.

Thought about Nero D as I have that on current cars, but after playing with multiple options at the dealer was convinced that the black trim needed to stand out. Although I did quite like the way Nero D / Nero made the black trim blend in and made the car look a little more compact.

It's a tough call because going with Nero Ds does eliminate the contrasting elements and gives the car a more holistic elegant look. Grigio Scuro will not detract too much from that effect given that it's more of a subtle contrast. Too bad the black elements on the rear flaps weren't available in body color as that would eliminate the bell/delta design.

The more I get used to the 12c design the more I like contrast. Subtle contrast IMO.

That’s why I am going for Rosso Imola. The more I look at the press photos of the launch car the more I like it. The contrast is part of the design concept and we need to embrace it.

Will we get the Amalfi steering wheel automatically?
I remember there has been a rumor that the Purosangue receives an updated steering wheel.

The Amalfi is a while away from production.
I’m sure that at that time both or all new models will have the new steering wheel.

I heard that the dealer may have a paid aftermarket option to update the steering wheel.

Part and labor charges. Not sure but would wager that the airbag will need to be disconnected for safety during the swap out.

This would make sense, and I recall something being mentioned earlier this year about a new steering wheel being put in place after the factory shutdown in August, so that would seem to coincide, but haven't heard anything else official as of yet.

I am debating whether I need massage/ventilated seats for $13k in the coupe. Any thoughts from others who did their spec? I am in San Francisco area so not much extreme heat here

One tester comment was it's a very nice feature to have those seats which he enjoyed. Also when it comes to resale it may be a useful option. The 12 Cilindri is more of a comfort GT than say the 812 Competizione was. Not a huge cost compared to the sticker price for this model. Paint color is where cost can really escalate. That and carbon trim all add up to.

I would say to lean into the GT nature of the car and get them. Even in SF I'm sure heated at least is a nice feature.

I am getting the Full Electric Seats option but I doubt there's much value in the massage/ventilated seats since you're ordering the coupe. If it was the Spider, then maybe it's a consideration.

I am not sure in the case of resale it would be a critical item either way.

I absolutely love my 12 Cilindri and find it to be the best GT from Ferrari while also having incredible sport ability. I like the road information I get through the seat in the car. It’s really well balanced in terms of comfort and communication. I don’t know if the seat you mention hides this communication due to massaging mechanisms. So it really comes down to personal like. Best thing you could do is try cars that have the 2 different seats.

We checked that box. I like heated/ventilated seats and especially since we did a black interior. Whether the massage seats are nice, I don’t know. Frankly, most seat massagers are not that impressive. Should have first hand experience someday when they release our car from Port. :)

Full electric option includes heated seats. Massaging is not a priority as I'm more focused on the driving experience. The ventilation feature may be more useful if it's a spider and you're driving top down in hot weather during the day.

I use them less than I thought I would but mostly because turning them on requires a bunch of taps on the center screen which, unless I remember to do before I start my journey, is too distracting to do while driving. The massaging seats seem ok but less impressive than I remember them being on the Purosangue, the other issue I've noticed is they seem to turn off after 15 mins of use at which point you need to go back in and reactivate them. I need to confirm with the dealer whether or not this is expected behavior. The ventilated seats are nice but I don't know that they're a must have in the coupe.

I'd put both in the somewhat nice to have category but not must have for a coupe.

Glad you got the driving priorities straight. Don’t get distracted with all the sub menus and the screen. Focus on the driving. It’s a matter of safety on the road. Not just in the Ferrari.
    Too much digital distraction.
