Yes, he is a friend of mine and that car was red/black for decades. It was kept in our shop in Charlotte for ten plus years until I sold it to a California buyer 4 or 5 years ago, then I sold it to a buyer from Orlando, Fl. and about 18 months ago or so I sold it to Martin. FYI, Martin was the only buyer that took my advice to return It to its original as-born color of Nocciola! He is certainly an excellent steward of the car and I look forward to following Martin's progress over the next couple of years!

Looks like my reconstructive chassis/rear suspension surgeries are holding up well.

Thanks for all the fine replies!
Interesting how many times Ferraris change hands.
Mine (10795) was acquired from the original owner (Paul Pardew) by Ed Waterman in spring of 1975.
He sold (or traded it) to FAF motorcars sometime after acquiring it.
FAF advertised it in the Road and Track classifieds in the fall.
After a bit of negotiation, I sent a deposit check to FAF.
On Friday, November 7, I flew from Rochester, NY to Atlanta, GA.
On Saturday, I purchased the car with a personal check for the balance and drove it home, stopping once for a night.
Since neither Ed or FAF registered the car, I am truly the second owner.
It had around 40,000 miles when I bought it and it now shows well over 205,000!
Will I ever sell it? Who can say ------------------------------ ?

ps there is some sort of Italian vehicle event in Charlotte, NC in the near future.
I hope to meet Mr. Clark there.

    @Bob Zambelli

You Mr. Zambelli, are of a rare breed, by not only owning your vintage car, and a Ferrari at that, for decades (+/- 1/2 a Century !!!), but also actually driving/using it extensively (160K miles in 5 decades !!!).
I can't think of many in that regard here I respect as much or more.

Thank you, Timo, for the kind words!
I've also done all my own work - Engine and gearbox rebuild, paint, suspension and shock absorbers, upholstery, seat upgrade, electronics - just lots of fun!

Yes, I’ve been aware of your abilities & accomplishments for long time, hence my belief you indeed being a rare breed of vintage car enthusiasts/owners.
There aren’t many who can or could personally do all that, even among “professional restorers”, let alone majority of regular participants in these web forums.
OTOH, lack of such DIY skills help businesses/industry supporting this hobby to stay alive & thriving.
