Please bear with us — we're diligently sifting through a sea of exceptional candidates. We're confident that, by the end of the summer break, a miracle… sorry, solution, will magically present itself!

Hey, show some respect for Binotto, he´s doing fine at Sauber, way better than Andreas Seidl. They´ve moved from backmarker to mid-fielder, and Audi´s money hose still isn´t at full capacity.

When will they begin testing the 2026 car?

My guess is Lewis will wait to see how he thinks it will be. If he sees any potential he’ll stick it out but if he thinks it will be a dog like this year we will see him bow out.

He’ll be our canary in the coal mine for 2026 IMO

That’s a great video. Especially the part where he talks about how Michael’s crew would do absolutely anything for him. What a team that was!!!

Formula 1 and the FIA have announced the dates for 2026 pre-season testing, with three tests set to take place prior to the campaign getting underway.

Test one will be a private test and will take place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya between January 26-30, while test two will be held at the Bahrain International Circuit between February 11-13.

The Bahrain International Circuit also hosts test three from February 18-20, before the season begins in Australia on March 6-8.

Lewis and the car are two seperate problems. The 2026 car will be another dog. Nothing has changed at the team to give us an expectation of something better. Ferrari's big problem is Lewis. And Lewis' problem is Lewis. Leclerc is getting everything possible out of this car...as he will out of next year's car. Lewis is also driving at his maximum capability, and that wasn't good enough at Mercedes and it isn't good enough at Ferrari. Hopefully Lewis has quietly let them know that he doesn't want to come back after the summer break and now they are coordinating when to announce it, and also announce who will replace him. I think Bearman would be the best choice for the rest of the season. If he rises to the occassion, he keeps the seat. If Ferrari ate crow and talked to Sainz, it would be best to start him in 2026.

Nothing is a given for next year. The feedback from drivers in the sim is the car will drive, and the PU managed very very differently and will not be a ground effect design also. No one knows who will be proficient. Im voting that Stroll will shock all LOL :) :) Just kidding. We wont know anything and predicting this is fun and useless.

Lewis' problem is the rear end of 2025 Ferrari F1 car.
That can be fixed for 2026.

Lewis' problem is Ferrari...and Ferrari's problem is Ferrari...and Ferrari's problem is Lewis and Lewis' problem is also Lewis. The 2025 car should not
have happened, the driver change should not have happened. Ferrari 2025 gives me no hope for Ferrari 2026. The rot starts at the very top, and descends down through the team, and becomes a cancer in the driver's seat of #44. As the saying goes...when you put lipstick on a pig...all you get is a pig wearing lipstick.

    Agreed.

Let him move to some back marker team like Alonso so he can stay "involved" and still get an easy paycheck.

He has no business at Ferrari essentially wasting a seat that can be better served by giving a new, upcoming driver a shot and building for the future. Wasting money and resources on him has set the program back a minimum of two years.

Better to leave the sport before the sport leaves you.
