Great thread Pete. It's a joy to see people actually picking up tools and bonding with their car. But I have a question, do you ever feel guilty for depriving the local mechanic of his children's tuition or boat payment?

I’m at about $65 for July, which was only fuel. Wish I could up that amount and log more seat time.

That's not too expensive for the window switch repair kit, but I just 3D printed my own. It's not too hard. I just took some measurements and printed about 3 or 4 tries before getting them perfect. It would be easy to do over again now that I got the part printing figured out.

I can probably figure by your fuel costs, but you should update by miles driven as well.

Just curious, but what does that entail? One trip for fun, few cars and coffee meets? Commuter for a few days? It's always interesting to hear how people use these cars (or don't in some cases).

Mostly just driving around on short errands. To the gym, to the local C&C, to the store if I'm picking up small stuff, a couple of "I'm bored I'll go for a drive". I take to to work if I need to go to a meeting on my day off, but I usually work shifts and dont want it parked outside unattended for 24 hours. I haven't taken it on any road trips . . . but am really thinking about it now that the weather is getting really nice.

    What about you?

I drive mine to work every Friday. I have good parking at work so I don't have to worry about where I leave it. I also do road trips, club drives, and date nights with it and the wife when we want to be fancy :D

I'm tracking on average 3-4k miles a year
