    Hello,
I'm in the southeastern corner of Ohio (Cambridge if you ever heard of it).
Recently acquired my late fathers '82 308 GTSi. Everything is doing fine, but I do want to find a reputable/good mechanic for when I need bigger services.

Is there anyone in the I77 or I70 corridor they'd recommend? Midwestern Auto Group in Columbus is about an hour and half away. But I'd like to see if there's others.

    Thank you!

NJB is where I go. Kevin and Susi are great to work with!

I am in NW C-Bus (Powell) and have owned my similar to yours '80 GTSi since 2003.

I can't comment on NJB one way or the other since I've always done all of my own maintenance as a DIY hobby (retired mechanical engineer). Chances are good that, whatever issues you might encounter concerning the care and feeding of your new-to-you car, I've already discovered it, making it handy for you should you ever need a second experienced owner's opinion on this or that. And for whatever I might not know, the brain trust in the 308 section here will certainly be most happy to chime in!

Thanks for the suggestions! I figured there was someone other than MAG for maintenance. The only current 'issue' I have with the car is the leaky shift shaft seal. It was something my late father just 'collected' with a pan and always topped off with a little fresh oil. I'd like to however get it fixed because I hate having it 'mark' its territory. I've read on how to replace the seal and I'm 50/50 on doing it myself. Im mostly a DIY for most things with my daily drivers, but Im super careful with my 308 till I get to know it more.

I sent a request out and Susi already responded! I said I got a referral from this forum. I'm kinda excited to meet them.
Quick question... Google maps points them to being an empty wooded lot across from a trailer park on the far east side of Westerville? Is it all brand new, or is their location different than what's on google maps? Thanks!

that’s it! For some reason google maps has not updated the area. They are good people and will listen to any of your requests/concerns. Tell them Morgan says hi!

Susi got me a quote for replacing the shift shaft seal. Currently my only leak. It’s a bad one too.

It’s a good bit higher than what I was expecting. Like $1000 higher. So I’m debating the pros and cons. Im mechanically inclined, but this is a special car.
Plus wouldn’t mind if they check it all out while it’s there.
