    Hello all,

Its my first thread here! I am very excited about buying my first Ferrari... And this model i am eying a F355 Yellow Berlinetta manual. The only thing is, I cant find this car in this spec.. no manual in this one to be found in Europe. I did find though a very well maintained yellow 1998 model with an F1 gearbox.

Since the car is in good condition (engine and the looks) I am considering to buy it and let an experienced professional company do the swap.

Who has done this and how was your experience? Wallet breaker in terms of value? Point is; I want to drive this beauty and not have it in the garage stationary.... And the manual is just the best

Very curious to your thoughts in this! Thanks a lot

If you can do the manual conversion for less than the cost of a manual car, sure why not? But yellow 355s are not uncommon, and you have good taste wanting one :). I don't think an aftermarket conversion kit exists, you have to source the parts from a wrecked car which seem to be drying up... The pedal box is the difficult part as it has to match the braking system in your car. 98 had the Bosch everyone driven booster setup and earlier cars had the ate electric booster. I don't know when the change happened.
