Final balance wired to Tamarit. Bike's done (minus the Brembo dual rotor fronts). They're gonna ship it soon to their Miami shop, the brakes go on there, and I'll head down in October for delivery. I've got some great shots and it is spectacular, but I am definitely not about to steal their thunder on the official unveiling online. So you just get a teaser of the bike named with my nickname. Jen drove her mom's bike up last night ( just to burn the gas up from last fall and use it ) - another Fatboy with a custom paint kit from Harley Davidson ... I've got 5 of these things in my garage now - need a bigger garage. MDS Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here are some of my current Harleys. I like to try as many bikes as I can so I change things up every now and then. I'll keep some but making a move back to more sport bikes, homologation specials will be the theme. Image Unavailable, Please Login
My son was home for the holiday weekend from college, so we did a chill 200 miles of country roads in NC. Absolute treat. Image Unavailable, Please Login
So a friend of a friend decided he was done with this monster S4R due to recurring issues. I always liked the idea of one so I offered him US$650 for it. Story so far is fit new battery, replace radiator fans and 2 x sensors, add fresh fuel, fill with new coolant, change oil and oil filter, bleed brakes and clutch, replace rear chain, check lights and charging system, check all linkages and bearings, lube all linkages and cables, replace handle bars and bar end mirrors. currently running like a champ, it has some cosmetic issues still and my back doesn’t love the clip ones but it’s a super fun Italian rat rod and I’m into it for less than $1500.
