So what are everyone's predictions for playoff teams? AFC East - Bills North - Ravens South - Texans West - Chiefs Bengals, Broncos, and Chargers as wild cards NFC East - Eagles North - Lions South - Bucs West - Rams 49ers, Commanders, and Vikings as wild cards Bills vs Lions in Super Bowl Bills win SB Agree that KC looks weak this year, but every year is always the same....every other team in their division "won the offseason" but it never shows in the regular season. This year feels different though. If the Chiefs will get clipped in the first or second round of the playoffs, I think the Bills finally get a ring, as I don't trust the Ravens to be able to take down the Bills when it matters. On the NFC side, I think the Eagles and Lions will crush everyone and it should be a coin toss as to who gets the #1 seed. Everyone seems to think the Lions will fall off after losing both coordinators, but I feel like everyone is forgetting how loaded this team is and how decimated they were from injuries by the end of last year, and it's hard to fathom the same thing happens again this year.
I would say it's because Jordan Love is injury prone. Not as bad as Jimmy G, but Love does seem to have something ailing him consistently
Lions won't make it. Dan Campbell will be the reason...he gambles too often, and at the wrong time. It should have been KC-Detroit in the SB 2 years ago instead of KC-SF, but Dan Campell was the reason the Lions lost that game.
What I think is funny is all the pundits are still picking KC to be in the SB. Did any of them see the last SB? I am not sure of the KC running game - Pacheco came back from a broken leg and didn't look like he did prior by any stretch, kinda like how Nick Chubb has forever changed. And I am not sure if Kelce is as 'rejuvenated' as he says he is, and they really need Rashee Rice.... even though they didn't have hime for most of last season and did pretty good (sic) And ALL of them are not giving ANY credence to Denver maybe being in the SB, but I consider them as good as anyone in the AFC - and the NFL - AND they have a decent coach. But it's like damned near every team - most suffer TWO key injuries a year - maybe not to a 'star' RB, but maybe a damned good Safety, or Corner, or O Center. MOST teans can lose a starting RB or WR and still be OK, it's the other positions where you lose someone and are toast. I will be mildly surprised if Barkley runs for more than 1,400 yards this season, when you look at history, 2,000 yard rushers fall off a cliff the following season.... Most every team has great players - problem is few people have heard of (some of) them, much less give them any respect at all: Chuba Hubbard - 8th in rushing, Bucky Irving 10th. Rico Dowdle 12th..... Can you build a team around them like you can a Gibbs, Henry, Barkley? No, but yards is yards.... no matter who gets them. There are only a handful of teams I would be stunned if they made the playoffs, Mia, Jets, Clv, Pitt, Tenn, Indy, Vegas, Giants, Dallas, Chicago, NO, AZ, I think anyone else is fair game - until injuries hit. You can eliminate a lot of teams based on what OTHER teams will do, win-wise, as far as how wild-card teams will go. For example, New England may have a decent record, but who finishes 2nd and 3rd in the AFC West? and in the AFC North? If Dallas would have picked up Derrick Henry a year ago, and kept Parsons....
Wow that Dallas Eagles game was nasty! I thought spitting was bad enough. This is an assault! https://nypost.com/2025/09/05/sports/cowboys-tyler-guyton-smacks-eagles-jalyx-hunt-in-face-while-blocking/
I don't understand why so many 'professional pundits' were surprised KC got beat.... KC won something like 11 one-score games last year, and the odds catch up with you sooner or later... Barring INJURIES, any team can win the AFC West - even Vegas, nothing would surprise me, but I still think Denver wins it and KC misses the playoffs... And any team can win the NFC West, or NFC North any team can win the NFC South except for New Orleans... I would not bet on Philly getting to the SB, but I also would not bet against them.. I still keep wondering, if Dallas would have signed Derrick Henry a year ago... idiots. The parity we have seen develop in college football in just the last 2-3 years is spilling into the NFL.
This guy proving he’s always been a d bag. “It’s clear that I’m not welcome around their facility,” Belichick said. “And so they’re not welcome at ours. Pretty simple.”
Wow the Raiders play their best game in years and beat the Patriots at home. That was not a "lucky" game. They beat the Pats fair and square.
It is really sad to see the woeful state of the Giants franchise. NFC East is so much more entertaining now that Wash is finally competitive....would like to see the NY Football Giants be a power again. FLY EAGLES FLY
I would not be one bit surprised if Philly beats KC today by 30+ points. KC has NO running game, NO vertical passing game, Kelce is a ghost of his former self, and the defense isn't playing well at all...
If LV can get Jeanty running consistently well, I would not be one bit surprised if they make the playoffs. But they cannot afford ANY injuries. And I'm already on record saying I expect KC to miss the playoffs.
17+ points is more of a 'blowout' (a 2+ TD lead) But KC is weak at soooo many positions, and Philly is LOADED at soooo many positions.... KC pundits just cannot accept the fact that KC just isn't very good anymore - and I am a big KC fan, but even *I* can see the regression.
Wow that Giants / Dallas game was amazing. Giants fall 0-2 while Dallas 1-1 In the history of the NFL since the Super Bowl era only 4 teams started 0-2 and won the Super Bowl that year.
...... and this is why I don't go to Casinos or do online gambling..... I'm in 16 fantasy leagues, last week I went 14-2, this week I will be lucky to be 2-14, I made A LOT of bad player start/sit decisions.... LOL
Eagles have probably played at 50% potential offense and defense their first two games but are 2-0. Rams next. Will be watching Raiders game at Bellagio Sports Bar tomorrow.
I agree. The Eagles have not played to their full potential, yet squeaked out 2 victories. That shows how good they really are.
