Hi. I posted this on the general forum, but figured I might have more model specific luck here.

I have a 2006 612 and had a minor service. I also had them change the battery. I live in Texas. I got the car back and have driven it about 150 miles - about 75% highway, and 25% street and the car won't pass emissions. It says that the Evap and 2nd Sys are not ready yet. Now, I have had this issue before, but usually when I drive about 100 miles, everything is ready, but not this time. I doubt that either or both of these systems are faulty. I called FMS in AZ where I had it serviced, and they didn't have a "drive schedule" to get it ready for an emissions test. The test place here in TX said just to drive it about 70 miles. I have doubled that and nada. Any ideas would be appreciated?

Does anyone have a 612 drive cycle or a "generic" Ferrari drive cycle to wake up 1 or both of these systems. Someone mentioned 1/2-3/4 tank of gas for the evap system. So I will do that as well as I think I have 1/2 tank. I forgot to mention that they switched out the evap diagnostic pump while it was there.

    Thank you.

I had to get emissions test for my 2005 612 just after servicing and replacing the battery. I didn’t find a specific driving cycle for the 612 but found this quick description online that I followed that worked! It isn’t mileage - the car needs to be driven in different conditions and speeds. Sounds simple but can be difficult to maintain a steady 55 mph if there is traffic. I tried to do two cycles because I couldn’t do everything exactly. I let the Scaglietti warm up for 10 minutes at idle before starting.

Run cycle that works for 7.1.1, 7.3.1, and 7.3.2 Ferraris.

    Run Cycle

    Run cycle.

Turn battery disconnect switch off and turn off all accessories (stereo, A/C, etc).

Let engine get completely cold or wait at least 30 minutes.

    Reconnect disconnect switch.

    Disarm immobilizer with the fob.

Insert key in ignition and leave for 30 seconds.

Turn ignition to on and leave for 30 seconds.

Turn ignition off and leave for 30 seconds.

Turn ignition on, wait for Check OK, and start. May have to push fob again if 120 seconds have elapsed since last fob actuation.

Let idle with no input whatsoever for 10 minutes.

Turn accessories back on and drive gently for 10-15 minutes at least.

You will have to insert stereo code, if required.

@Ferrari Monkey EVAP and 2nd Air are cold start related monitors. So instead of driving it a lot, I would say do a few more cold starts (let it sit overnight). Fire up and let the car idle for a good 5 mins and then drive around the block and park it back in your garage. If you need more help, just DM me.
