I am looking forward with great anticipation to the arrival of my 12 Cilindri Spider in 2026.

I am sure that all of you know better than me that the sky is the limit with regards to options.

I am going to try the impossible and attempt to use some fiscal discipline. I am not sure I will be successful but I will try.

With that in mind I would like to see if I can land somewhere between $ 75 - 100k.

And for that I really need your help.

Could you each come up with your 3/5 top " must haves". I will take all your responses and at the end come up with the summary of the top 10 options of this " survey"

In my mind for example an absolute must have is a -- front suspension lifter .

    I truly appreciate your input.

I thought i would do the same, however there are some mandatory options in my region. Anyways here are my top list:
    Upgraded wheels (glossy black)
    Yellow Calipers
    Goldrake seats
    Full electric seats
    prancing horse on headrest
    Stiching in contrast color
    Surround camera
    Front Radar with ACC
    Back radar
Steering wheel with Carbon and LEDs
Upgraded exterior colors "Classic color" (i beleive mealic colors are must to show the shades and details.

With the mandatory options that will come around 72K in options.

If this is a coupe, i would add the panoramic roof as a must too. This would maks it about 81k in options for the coupe.

I am getting a coupe so here goes:

    Panoramic roof
Steering wheel with carbon and LEDs
    Central tunnel in carbon
    Cockpit area in carbon
    Passenger display
    Glossy orbit grey wheels

Front suspension lifter is included as standard from my dealer as part of a "Personalization package" which is mandatory :)
    Surround camera as well

Having said that ... my total options came to £98,550 GBP which is around $127,000 USD ... which is more than i originally planned back when I also decided to use fiscal discipline :)

The suspension lifter is included already in the PPAC, is the mandatory package that is already included in the price of the car, at least is like that in europe.

Personally on my car, must have items are the steering wheel with leds, exterior carbon fiber (looks odd to me to have it in matte plastic with that black roof).
the orbit grey glossy wheels are awesome in my opinion

We just did TM this week on our fiscally disciplined build. :)

We did a new paint colour, standard wheels in silver (much nicer in my opinion) and no exterior carbon, instead black glossy paint to match the black glossy painted roof, rear deck and front piece between the headlights. I think it keys in much nicer, especially with our exterior colour. Ultrasuede on almost all the interior (more expensive than standard alcantara but not too much and it’s much nicer), carbon interior (except the little dash piece which can only be had in matte), carbon engine bay - have to show that engine off, it’s just too beautiful - the most beautiful I’ve seen with the exposed wheel arches and the cofango. We themed the car on one of the 365 GTB/4 Competizione cars that ran in the 1972 Le Mans 24h. Daytonas took the first 5 placings in their class. We chose #15373, driven by British legend Derek Bell and now owned by Nick Mason. The end result should hopefully not be overly extravagant since the livery is simple, we didn’t use exterior carbon and the interior, while not being standard, is not as wild as some. With TM you can go berserk so easily. For example, they do black carbon. Very beautiful and perfectly suited to our build. But the engine bay standard carbon is £10k, the black carbon is £25k. Would be nice if it were more reasonable but there we are. I think our car is going to be a beautiful, usable and historic-themed car.

When we went to the TM studio, we saw a car in the press livery. The first time I had seen a spider. It is absolutely beautiful. This is a wonderful design and I am now firmly of the opinion that I couldn’t disagree more with the detractors. I love the looks of the 812 but the 12C is so much sharper and more resolved. It is better. This car will be an absolute classic.

How does the cost of exterior gloss black paint on those parts compare to the carbon alternative?

I didn’t check that but I remember someone else here saying it was cheaper but not much. We chose it because of the fully-matched look suiting the theme we followed.

Same here, the outside carbon of the demo car had a “greyish” touch at the edges of the back diffusor to my eyes that’s why I decided to go with painted parts in glossy black.

To have an idea of the costs: my dealer said PPE1 is 15.600 + VAT in Germany, another guy here was told it is only 10.000 + VAT.
Exterior carbon is 23.500 + VAT but Ferrari prices usually change from year to year…

Here’s what I have in my notes. Please double check the official price sheet. It offers some savings over carbon, but not a consequential amount.

$24,332 - Ext Painted Plastic Parts Pack

    versus

    Exterior Carbon

    $12,166 - Rear Diffuser
    $2,607 - Front Air Vents
    $10,254 - Exterior Sill Cover
    $7,821 - Front Spoiler

    $32,848 - Total

It’s carbon, but much blacker (standard is actually dark grey).

Do it in the 1971 'Fly Yellow' which is a bit darker than the modern Giallo Modena paint. Too flat; then do the shade as a metallic version custom paint...

Any thoughts on the below options? My dealer "snuck" some of them on my build and not sure if I should keep or remove. His excuse was that they would complement the build ... but I am not convinced

CIMP - Matt Interior Carbon Fibre → £2,800
    CRP7 - Fixed Carpets in Black Leather → £3,400
FLMA - Mobile Carpets with Logo → £900
    PRG1 - Privacy Glass (Rear) → £3,050
    AQS2 - Air Quality System → £600

    That's £10,750 (close to $15,000 USD) on options that I don't think I need.

I would get Mobile Carpets with Logo and Air Quality System from those choices. Is it still Rosso lmola for the paint color?

Congratulations on the spec. The standard silver wheels and glossy black lower parts will look great.

Giallo Fly, as of2worlds suggested, would be excellent as a tribute to #15373. Another interesting option (if you want metallic) is Ardilla Amarillo.

Below, photos of a 12C (Rosso Corsa) with the lower parts in glossy black and standard wheels, for reference.

That's right, these wheels are the standard ones (cast, 5 spoke classic). The ones in the photos are not finished in glossy silver, but in "matt Grigio Corsa". But it's the same rim.

The forged (non-standard) wheel is the one with turbine-shaped spokes, more futuristic, very common in diamond finish.

I thought that was the case. I ordered my 12C with Matt Grigio Corsa Rims (RMSC) and I figured they were those and not the standard wheels, which to my eye, is a much brighter shade of silver.

Sorry I have a question: Are the Silver rims the standard color ?
If one wants the Matt Grigio color rim, what is the up charge?

    Got your point.
You choose an optional finish on the standard wheels (cast).
With this choice, "RMSC - Matte Grey Wheels" appears on the options plate, since there is an optional finish.
When the wheels are the standard glossy silver, both the wheel and the finish are standard, and therefore no information about the wheels appears on the options plate.
By the way, standard wheels, regardless of finish, are the most beautiful and timeless, IMO. :)
