    That optional wheel is much more compatible with the new 12 Cilindri bodywork in my opinion. The base wheel was used for the Spider launch model and got lots of praise there to.

    Nobody has ordered the optional wheels in silver. For some reason there has been a lot of gold ones, normally it's the rarest option.

    Many thanks for showing the base silver wheel.
    With the right paint its a nice pairing.

    The 'cut off' style on the spokes is a design theme which is found on the lateral sides of the body and also on the top of the humps on the hardtop canopy . (A Militello, designer)

    Due to the lighting the color looks almost a pale warm yellow.

    But having seen this color in person I know the true color.

    Here one can see how the hood collar looks absolutely hideous!

    I have no idea why the Centro Stile decided that this dull black collar is now mandatory. Over my Dead Body! Are we living with a Dictator?

    I was able to delete this awful looking feature on my f8 spider. Thank god!

    If one were to select a Nero Ds black color for rhe 12 C spider, Guess what? You get this horrible opaque black rubbish on your hood!

    Nevermind that you can pay for orange or lime green dash leather which causes glare!

    Thats totally approved!

    Sorry for my rant

    Also that little strip of weird opaque black beneath the front sttipe.

    Why not color it to match the selected body color? Another against my dead body dead end!

    Of course your could do it in Carbon Fiber for 10K

    please! A little rectangular shaped piece of carbon costs 10K?

    As part of a video by Drivers Dream, one 12Cilindri at Thijs Timmermans had the rear parts painted / wrapped in the color of the car. It looks pretty good imho ;-)

    Sans Shields paired with Diamond wheels—a nice balance of flash and understatement.

    Another way of doing this would be with the shiny silver standard wheels paired with Shields

    Agree. As weird as the original strikes at first look, this is less attractive to me as well for the reasons you stated.
