Track front/rear   Tyres front/rear    Body width
    SF90     1679/1652 mm    255/315 mm      1972 mm
    SF90 XX  1683/1674 mm    255/315 mm      2000 mm
    849 TR    1678/1673 mm    265/325 mm          ? mm

Based on the similar rear track and wider tyres, the body of 849 TR should be around 1 cm wider than in SF90 XX.

Couldn't see a thread for personal specifications, I have had some time to play with the online configurator, unfortunately the 3D configuration did not load, I wanted some side views etc.

This is the spec I am thinking of, code 9LDiy5B
I like the way you can option the interior cockpit in different colors, lots of fun to be had with those options.

Honestly hate the background of the updated configurator why is it a dark studio where you can’t see the color!
The older configurator you could at least change the environment.

It is interesting how 849 Testarossa has much wider mirrors than 12Cilindri although both cars have pretty similar body width (around 2 meters):

              Width including mirrors
    12Cilindri  2176 mm
    849 TR    2304 mm

I wish the 3D would load because you can't change from night to day in that section of the configurator

I used ChatGPT to lighten up the background but unfortunately it distorted some details.

I have been reading quite a bit of negative responses to 849 styling and while I understand the black pieces won't please everyone, I must say the car looks pretty wonderful with its flowing lines, especially from this perspective:

I've been reading also that 849 TR does not look at all like 1984 Testarossa. I disagree somewhat. It has several, sometimes hidden reference to it. Even the "black belt" in the waist area of the car next to the side air intakes has something to do with the 1984 Testarossa, as there was this black panel within the side strakes:

It was a mandated element back then in the Testarossa. It was not necessarily so beautiful element from the close distance, but it actually created rather nice shading to give the car more contrast in side intake area. The "black belt" in 849 TR behaves somewhat similarly.

When SF90 launched it didn't feel like a flagship car. It looked like those V8 cars Ferrari had produced so far. 849 TR with its wider and more classic presence does instantly look like a flagship car with V12. Of course, it doesn't have V12. On paper the perf does not differ a lot from SF90, but in the end I would be very surprised if the whole package (including 5% power increase and wider tyres) hasn't been honed up significantly from the SF90, which was their first try on platform.

At launch rear tires were listed as 285 at the app. Made me wonder why would they go narrower.
After reading your post i went to check again and it is 325 now

Just wanted to say something about the SF90 price depreciation, if you think your SF90 has depreciated to much, than imagine how McLaren, AMG , Maserati ,…. owners must feel, those have depreciated way more.
And if you’re worried about price depreciation, maybe purchasing a 600k Ferrari is just not for you.
