No, it gets worse. After he has made 10 pages of notes and added up the cost of repairs, he suggests to the now mentally broken owner that the only fair thing would be if he pays Carl to take the car away
Close to Pat's $50 is this lovely machine that Greg's selling: https://www.gumtree.com.au/web/listing/cars-vans-utes/1336368264 Not bad for a $35K car.
Lovely,Aussie, not rosso and no bloody shields: https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1976-ferrari-dino-gt4-manual/SSE-AD-19407433/
Looked at that one for a friend in '88/89. Was in very poor condition and not worth the $27K they were asking.
Current owner has spent a lot of money and effort but the car has had at least 2 hose-over resprays so the paint is very thick. Another $60K to sort that. Also it was a velour interior originally.
Was a Melbourne car for many years, owned by PT. Black with magnolia velour. Had an engine fire and sat disassembled for years at ST's workshop, was a sad old thing back then, but the colour combination IMO really worked on that Bertone shape. Hope it goes to a good home.
Hi all, first post etc, been lurking for a little while and I’ve learned quite a bit in this forum alone. Did anyone notice what the bidding on the Dino got to? Was at $70,000 for the last couple of days. TIA
G'day and welcome. Sorry no and it's not in the sold section so it might come back on again.....or go to that other reputable selling engine...Lloyds!
Hi and thanks for the replies and welcome. Got an email this morning, $83.5k. And "reputable selling engine" you say @simon klein? I'm yet to find one that is!
