For racing I think the nod goes to Pista. For entertainment I think the nod goes to Speciale. Ergo, need both. :)

I’d agree. Though, likely neither for racing.;) Glad the Pista is holding and increasing. One of the best looking cars of all time.

New gtb owner. One reason I finally got off the sideline and into a Ferrari is that the 488 prices seem to have nadired to a great point (other than the pista) and most importantly, the 488 and f8 will be the last of the the full ICE cars with the Pininfarina looking style (i’m aware they were not involved). I truly believe that, despite all the naysayers regarding turbo, charging, this will be the last great generation of Ferraris before they went hybrid, electric, haptic into strictly performance numbers rather than soul. Personally, I think the 296 is not a very attractive looking car. F8 looks nice but still not as good looking as the 488 and the 45. Pistas being more rare reflect all that.

These are two of the hottest (among other Special series) exotics right now. FGT Heritage is between 700 & 800k. Pistas with low mileage and desired options are commanding at least 150k over MSRP.

I don’t think F8’s will appreciate the way the Pista have recently simply because the Pista is considered a VS and the F8 is not. The perception of exclusivity and scarcity is why the Pista is appreciating alongside the Speciale. I do think the F8 will be stable for a long time because it is almost identical to the Pista and such an unreal car with a more manageable price tag. Prices havent moved in quite some time and the amount of cars available seems to be decreasing which is good. I’ve yet to drive a speciale and am really looking forward to comping them. Ive driven the 458 and the F8 back to back quite a bit and I do prefer the F8 in most ways but it really is hard to beat the feeling you get from putting the pedal down on that NA engine. All incredible cars…..

+20% based on how many actual sales vs asking prices? How many actual sold comps?

I pretty much agree with you on the F8. It's not a "Ferrari Special" technically but there are some out there who claim less F8's were built...who really knows? Not a lot of F8's on the market either.....way less than last year or early this year in Q1.

I'm happy with the car holding at least and that is really cool. I see an argument the F8 will increase due to last non hybrid mid engine and the F8 has the Pista engine and great aero and looks but time will tell and the F8 if it goes up in price will go slower than the true Ferrari special cars and it will hold now for a few more years you think?
I could use a real win in life these days and a car sale at a profit would be nice and a relief...

All we need is a few ...say Tributo's....to sell for $400k and it will start. Seems the avg going on the usual spec F8 Tributo is around $350/$360k.... ?

The F8's are doing much better than the 296 cars!

people will start thinking pista 625/650 an f8 tributo 350 ish 300 k apart, what can you get for 350 that gives you f8 performance i love that it makes crazy power at mid range and you dont have to take her to 7 k to get full power

i get it, for street driving i prefer mid range power just makes it more exciting than needing to take her to 7 k plus rpm.

Completely agreed. Only a matter of time before the F8 is more expensive than the 296 which is crazy. I think it’s easily the better looking car. Haven’t driven the 296 enough to comp it but will have a better perspective after corsa pilota next month.

Probably Pista/Speciale prices break $1mil in 2026, and Tdf prices break $2mil then too.

There are already MANY 296's below F8's-- and you're right, the rest will follow.

  17. Does anyone have any actual transaction prices for Pistas?

I see the listings, and 2020 Coupes are around 900k, with 2019 Couples around 650-700k. Spiders are probably +200k for both MYs.

That's a significant rise in prices from just 6 months ago. At least the ask is.

Any real transaction prices anyone care to share?

a few of my friends bought coupes 625 and another 635 both had less than 3 k miles a lot of carbon. Best Buy’s are f8 imo

What do you guys think about the delta between the Pista market in the US and Europe, or even Japan? I recently bought a TM Pista for 720k, which I consider to be not a bad deal. But I recently looked up prices in Italy and Japan, and they are nearly 200k cheaper for similar specs.

  22. Don't compare prices across countries, much less continents.

A Japanese JDM Pista is RHD, for one. So what difference what those are trading at (assuming you are in the U.S.)?

And that car in Italy for 200k cheaper. Between imports fees, paperwork, DOT compliance mods, etc., most of that 200k will be eaten up.

Just enjoy the Pista that you bought. But if you really want to feel better, check out the PIsta prices in Australia. It'll make you feel a whole lot better.

    I

I'm definitely enjoying it, most of the Pista in the Japanese market that I saw on Ferrari's website is also LHD. I'm just curious in terms of why the price discrepancy is that big. Originally, I thought it was due to the weak yen, but when looking at the Euro market, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Overall, I see a pretty good premium in the US market. Is it due to a higher demand, or is the current price overinflated?
