For Sale 1997 Viper GTS - Blue & White

I currently have a 1997 GTS blue white not for sale. Your car is beautiful. I put mine away. I'
I've had 3 Vipers in the past. My first was an original 92, current keeper my B/W 97 GTS, and a early 2000 which I sold to the dealer before taking possession. I was the original owner of all three. It is too bad Dodge stopped production these beautiful cars as those behind the Viper had important historical dealings with the automotive communities. I met C Shelby when he came out with the Aurua engined Second generation Cobra at his plant on the Los Vegas Track. (I did not like it). Felt privileged as it was still under wraps. Got to see Bill Cosby original Twin Paxton 427 Cobra . Do not remember the owner at the time nor if it's still in existence. Got to drive his 427 AC polished Al. 427 Cobra on the Track. It was one of the special 500 mysterious 500 old frame cars. We discussed his early dealings with the Viper. So much history!

 

This is a cool car and IMO the best year and GTS is the best configuration.

 

A12- if you have interest in Cobra/Viper family--here is tidbit. After C. Shelby died there was an Aircraft engineer who i met that bought Shelby's overhead aluminum press. I saw it times when I visited his shop in Vegas, then startled when I visited the General Aviation Museum at Colorado Springs Airport & it was there. They restore from scratch WWII aircraft. As we talked aviation of WWII he asked me what I thought the 10 ' inverted U was in his shop. I said it looked like an Al. Press like I saw in Shelby's Shop. It was it! He bought it. We hit it off, then he said I've something in my office you'll like. He had the plans for all three original GT 40's. Said when he retires that what he's going to build!
I assume A 12 you are a pilot. I was a General Aviation pilot. I used to do Pilot physicals for a # of yrs.

 

Beautiful car, GLWS. My top 10 favorite car. Had a 96 B/W for 14 yrs and put 136k miles on it before someone decided to turn into me.

Very nice car I bought one identical to yours new in 97 has about 8k miles on it. But I don't drive it much anymore .. I srill love the looks of these cars..
