Interesting, do you mind? How old are your girls? This doesn't seem like it'd work for a toddler??

We found that weight and head/neck control had more impact on fit than age range. We got the x-small for our youngest and it fit her great since just before her 2nd bday. Recommended age and weight for the xs starts at 2yo and 22lbs.

My wife bought the small for our 5yo on Amazon, figured it was an easy return if we didn’t like it, then surprised me with it like she had just found the safe code at De Beers. Cute moment. After using the first for a couple days we bought the second for our younger one.

Only downside for us so far is a couple more buckles each time they get in and out. But I far prefer the flexibility and car care these provide compared to traditional child seats fixed back there.

    Hope that helps. Good luck

I had managed to remove the lumbar section to access the isofix (why on earth it’s designed this way I will never know. What an idiotic design for a four seater with actual usable space).

this morning I attempted to feed them back in but I gave up after 15 minutes of trying. Basically the only way to do it is to insert the metal tongue at the bottom first and then try to pull the two little levers into the slot but they are very very stiff and I only managed to achieve one out of the four.

I wonder if removing the bottom seat is not better so that you can position the top of the lumber section 1st and then Have the bottom part free to be positioned without the base of the seat?

As for the car seat I have used the MAXI COSI TANZA. Which is a lightweight foldable seat.

very narrow base so easier to do the seatbelt. And foldable so easy to get in and out of the car.

but after attempting to put back the lumbar section today not sure I will be doing that too often

It is a challenge but they will go back in. IIRC a little force is needed to push it into place.....I remember a number of "F^&$s" the first couple times I had to do it but after got easier. You really have to push the top clips back in. Nothing will break
