    Quick question about the sport switch on a 575M. When the switch is pressed is it supposed to stay in the "switched" position, or does it revert back to it "rest" position like a momentary switch? When I press the switch the sport light comes on in the dash, but the light goes out when I release it. I suspect i have a faulty switch that won't stay in the on position.

    You are correct. A temporary fix could be to swap the outer case of the switch with another one that still works. Rear defroster for example.

    PLEASE be careful if you do this, there is a tiny spring and little white tabs that will fly across the room if your not careful. Take apart the switch inside a gallon zip loc bag, that way you do not lose any pieces.
