It was mate! I agree! Contender for 'fight of the year'.

I also thought Bivol won a VERY close match, definitely not a robbery, but that judge who scored 112-116 was on crack.

    There is always one lol

I can't wait for the rematch, I think Bivol will take the rematch. I predicted Bivol would win on points via a split decision and I reckon that's what it should have been called.

But.................all good! Bring on the rematch asap! :D

    Happy Birthday!

I’m excited for this one as well. Who are you picking? Ultimately I think canelo will be too big tonight and his experience of being the guy who moved up in the bivol fight will show. Crawford has never moved up like this before and despite having the best footwork in all of boxing (in my opinion), being very strong himself and having a longer reach, it won’t be enough against canelo, who will most likely be a good 15lbs heavier in the ring.

Can’t count Crawford out as he’s one hell of a fighter, but I can’t see him being able to hurt canelo the way Bivol could have and canelo will eventually wear down Buds guard and body. Canelo wont have any fear and may have trouble finding Crawford at first, but will control the ring and eventually do enough to win the rounds. Don’t expect a stoppage, but think canelo will win 8 rounds or so in a good, technical fight that will have us wishing for Canelo v Benavidez and Bud sailing into the sunset

I may actually go to the parade for Bud, if they have one again, here in Omaha...

I'd go to his boxing gym here, but, that's an area of town you just don't go to....

Man, Crawford was in control the whole time, Canelo looks lethargic and almost sick. He showed frustration a LOT starting with picking Bud up in the ring which is not like him to do. Last few rounds Canelo was shaking his head and just like he didn't get a rythmn and Crawford outboxed him very well.

I kinda hope Bud retires at 42-0, BUT, in every fight, it seems he gets
about 25% of the $$$ that his opponent gets (at most).

BUT, I was also reading Bud has it to where he gets a higher percentage
of the TV revenue and other things like that, so maybe he is actually doing very well...

I really don't want to see him box Mayweather....

Mayweather knows he's too old and he has a fake record with these exhibition fights.

    RIP Ricky Hatton
