F12 values increasing?

it's up from what I've seen in the UK - recent ferrari styling being poor has pushed it up to classic status because of it's pretty looks

 

Yes I bought mine for $205 in 2021 or 22, put nearly 10k miles on it and traded it in for $235k. I'm signing today and already regret it. I'm sure it will continue to increase. Not that many of them. Great cars.

 

I would agree - have been looking for an F12 for a few months. Cars that were 150-160 last year now seem to be 180-190.

In the United Kingdom, prices in the last six months have started to slightly increase, so yes definitely happening here.

 

I have been keeping an eye out for a good deal and hate to admit it , but it has been creeping up… it is the last Pininfarina designed Ferrari.

 

it may be due to the questionable design language that is showing in the 12 cillindri and now the newly released 849 testarossa, and to some extent the F80 as well. that "millennial moustache" black strip on the front is not working for me.

plus overly complicated/over engineered turbo+hybrid drivetrains are just silly and all to downsize engine but increase power for regulations. it's like they keep adding tech to solve problems they created themselves. lower emissions? fine downsize and turbocharge. now you got turbo lag? add electric motors to spool up turbos. exhaust muted because of turbos and sounds like a vacuum cleaner? add sound piping from engine into cabin. need more power? add electric motors to front wheels. now we need a bigger battery? add 6.5kw battery. mind you all this "tech" has to work seamlessly to achieve peak performance and now you have 10+ additional points of failure to monitor and maintain. and no one knows how any of this "tech" is going to age.

but sure it's faster than my F12. it needs to be because it's so ugly no one wants to see it

 

You'll pay 10-15% more today for a well-spec'd low mile clean F12 than 1 yr ago, and ~40% more than 6-7 yrs ago.

In 2019 I paid $255k for $389k MSRP clean 1k mile F12. Today would be $350k+ for same, assuming could be found.

If you want one, buy it today.

 

total production of F12s estimated around 4300 with 1/3 going to Americas so around 1400 or less F12s in the USA.
the 812 GTS supposedly had around 2200 production numbers unfortunately it's rather ugly.

 

Could you please describe your F12's year & spec? "Tailor Made" etc etc options....Lift? Many thanks.

From 2016 until the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, the total number of used F12Bs for sale in Europe, excluding the UK and Switzerland, (Mobile.de and Autoscout24 sources) ranged between 90-110 cars. Since the pandemic, this number has begun to decline considerably, and currently fewer than 60 cars are advertised for sale. The impression I have is that due to the fact that the F12B overall design is superior to the ones of its successors, many people keep their F12Bs and don't want to sell them (I'm one of them). From the moment the supply is much less prices tend to increase. I've been looking at some old records I keep and the better-equipped, lower-mileage F12Bs are now being advertised at prices similar to those of 2017-2018.
