Well after almost a year of research and development my efforts have finally come into fruition, and I must say the results are much better than I expected.

This process involved taking apart the HVAC, instrument clluster, missile switches and round switches and swapping out the LED and the resistors.

It was a huge task, as each round switch and missile switch has its own translucency, so one size/type of LED and resistor cannot do the job, especially when the gas flap button, hazard and sports suspension and fog light and mirror defrost switches are concerned.

I also did a headlight upgrade and rear tail light LED upgrade, and added a full carplastix interior makeover and reskinned the airbag to boot.

The Headlights were re polished and as you can see from the photos the low beam has a super crisp line with no scateer, and the hi beams are insane..!

I realise this won't excite the purists, and i respect their point of view. You cant argue with OEM, its just that factory lighting isn't as bright as I would like it to be..

    Photos for your consideration..

I also polished all the side glass and windscreen and even put LED in the fog lights as well
Furthermore I added a new stereo system, and the amplifier is stealth and hidden under the trunk liner.

And yes I even managed to get the Alpine F1 speakers to fit in the doors, and even the door skin fits over then nicely.

I also replaced the entire roof hydraulic system, and roof works perfectly now.

Stereo pumps out 100W RMS but due to the acoustic limits of the vehicle, without a subwoofer, the Alpine F1's are about as good as it gets..

Nonetheless, for a completely stealth system, I am very happy with the results..Crisp and clean music..The Sony RSX GS9 also helps a lot as well, but for the system its a bit of an overkill if you dont want to spend the coin

Oh, and i also re powder coated the wheel and got new centre caps and valve covers.

Next up Tub headers, Capristo stage 3 and Decat Tubi Y pipe, plus heat shielded 200 cell cats from Larini..

    Hikari H1 2023 Titanova. 15,000 Lumens each..

They only just fit.. and will hit the back of the headlight pod skeleton..
You need to massaging the headlight "posts" to make it work..

Very nice upgrades. The OEM interior is certainly quite dim. I just replaced taillights with LED, fog lights next. Not sure I could tackle the interior though.

Interior upgrade is easy.. once you know how.. The difficulty lies in getting the luminosity correct throughout all the switches.
Missle switches pull apart easy and you can get access to PCB
Round switches ( the old ones) are a bit more tricy but do-able
HVAC needs a slight opeining of the T4 lamp holes to fit bigger LED holders..
Instrument cluster and radio bezel gauges are easy.

Bear in mind that when you carplastix finish the HVAC and round buttons it changes the translucency and therefore the luminosity.
So if you are planning the mod get these first to ensure you get the correct brightness..

Too bright is not an issue.. You can dim the led by using a sharpie marker.. But if too dim.. you are in trouble

Oh and btw.. do yourself a favour and upgrade to the new Ferrari round switches, or at least the new hazard switch.. They are so much nicer to work with, and carplastix also coat these as well. It also helps with on -off cycle removal and replacement longevity.. something the brittle OEM old round switches have issues with..

    Hope that helps.
