At Joe's suggestion here is a link to my original design, never installed OEM shift gate. Thanks....
Sorry to bring up old thread, but wasn’t sure if starting a new one would be better. Lots of talk about what’s real and what’s fake etc. But, I want to know where are fake ones being machined or lasered at for the cavallino? I understand there are copyright issues, so it makes sense not to make it public. I actually just want mine carved out to the gated pattern to match a carbon knob. Any help greatly appreciated. Jewelers and knife places etc. around town have told me it’s out of their element to do more than just a shallow etching.
I have only seen one fake one on eBay and it was obvious and also stated as such. The cavalino is not easy to replicate.
Hey maybe that was my fake one but I listed it saying it was a Ferrari lapel pin glued to an aftermarket gate.
I would agree and imagine the cavalino would be hard to do, but also create the copyright issue. like I said I actually just want the 6 speed pattern, which seems like it would be an easy aftermarket option without breaking any rules.
There was one where it was carved out. Looked really good too. Almost bought it before I found a legit one.
