    Those numbers are a part of the Koni model numbers; nothing to do with the year.
    My original 1980 OEM Koni shocks carried the same numbers, as did my newly purchased replacements.

    Bumping this thread (that I haven't been monitoring), with a price edit. While the dampers seemed to work well on the car, I've noticed one leaked some oil when laying on it's side, so I would have to consider them as rebuild candidates. So how about $200 or offer. Otherwise they go to the scrap man when I do my annual fall shop clean/purge.
