Annual service done 400 miles in and 5 months ago (April) when. brake fluid was changed by one dealer. Took the car into new dealer for Ferrari day inspection. Was told the brake fluid is showing3% water. They said it needs changing which I understand but how is this possible? Did dealer use expired open brake fluid when. they replaced in April? I can’t seem to find any answers and even the service manager was confused.

Don't know why but suggest changing it with brand new then checking again at the same interval. If much better than would assume you were correct and contaminated fluid was used.
