At Saturday's cars & coffee, Newport Ferrari was displaying/promoting their new in house PPF people. They were doing a 296 in the bay on the side that opens to the parking lot. I spoke to the director of that operation for a good 20 minutes. He seemed very competent and said he was in this for 20 years, etc. and hand picked all the guys doing the PPF. They use Ceramic Pro PPF and products, and can add it to your carfax. They do color PPF, ceramic coating, I think tint and any other general "restyling" of the cars.

I'm curious what you guys think of that. I have some old PPF on my car I need replaced, and they seemed pretty competent and gave pretty good pricing actually. I was considering Rhino, Envious or Protective Film Solutions but am now considering the in house people.

Myko Designs is another one where you should look into. The installers for this place has been in the business for while. I believe the installer use to part of the premier film folks in the bay area where they wrap all the hypercars and are booked 2-3 months in advance. The training of premier is bar none, the best I seen for a long time.

There are better installers that are more competitive. I have had 8 cars done by Rhino Films in Huntington Beach and a search in this forum has numerous review. Owner is a friend of mine.
