2 very different cars. I know a few people who sold their 430 for a 599, but shortly there after went back to a 430 or went to the 458. I haven't seen a 599 owner sell, buy a 430, then go back to a 599.
Thanks - definitely very different cars. One front engined V12 grand tourer, and one mid engined sports car. In between the two, as prices in Canada are allowing me to cross shop them. I don’t have extended experience with either of them, so looking for both.
The 599 is a great looking car. Nice interior etc. However, (now this is my personal opinion), it doesn't drive very well. It feels unsettled, especially the back end. Almost like it will come out from under you at any time. Even when driven moderately fast. That said, I have driven them with the Novitec suspension upgrade, and it transforms the car into what it should have been from the factory. You can also lower the car on the factory springs, and witha good alignment it also make for a much better feeling car. Just some options to consider. The F430 is a great car right out of the box. Best as a coupe for sure, but the spider sure is nice on a summer evening..
