Ocon has been DSQ'd from qualifying after his rear wing didn't pass the FIA's deflection tests.
I'm pretty sure the rest of the grid has "a clue" regarding Max. If they don't then they are skating through life with blinders on. There's nobody like Max. He might even be more focused then Senna ever was.

Exactly. But hey, at Ferrari we have two part-time influencers who's more focused on fashion, running an ice cream brand and now collecting art pieces than racing.
Even without rain. (I'd set my DVR to run 90 minutes over, from when they were halting every session when it rained.)
What a crazy qualifying. 2 hours because of so many Red Flags, none of which were caused by Lance Stroll amazingly. Everyone out of rhythm, unknown track conditions due to the rain, and the always unforgiving walls inches away and Max puts in another All Star lap. Wow. Oscar makes a rare mistake and Lando has a perfect chances to start near the front or even on pole. P7. I do believe he was right that going out first meant the worst grip of the track for the final run but still, he was wayyy off Max before he even hit the wall. Ferrari, amazingly crapped the bed worse than McLaren. Lewis looked solid in practice but it turns out it was nonsense and he was a whopping 6 tenths off Charles. But this is one of Leclerc's best tracks, he loves it. One of the favorites for pole and a legit chance that Ferrari could maybe even get a win. Well in typical Leclerc fashion, he crashes all by himself and throws away another golden opportunity. Sometimes its really hard being a Charles Leclerc fan. Alonso goes 9 tenths faster than Stroll and its worth just 2 positions. That AMR is garbage on high speed tracks. Albon is another driver that constantly makes mistakes and he has to be kicking himself given Sainz qualifies P2! Looking forward to the race. Set your recorders for at least 1 hour extended since there will surely be at least one Red Flag.
I think a lot of us have come to accept that Leclerc is just not going to win a championship at Ferrari, unless next years regs give him a huge advantage. Don't get me wrong, he's a likeable guy. I've enjoyed his moments in the sun when he's won at Monza and Monaco. But he still shows so much emotional immaturity, making absurd mistakes for a veteran driver in their 8th season. I'd love it if I ate my words, and next years regs give him a sort of Button-Brawn career reset, but his emotional problems and need to drive the car beyond its limits, has my doubting he'd take a championship car, to the championship. If Ferrari want to win a championship, the driver line-up needs to be seriously reconsidered. I know, people say Ferrari's problems aren't all on the drivers, and that's true. But, we can't pretend that Alonso would've won championships Vettel threw away, and that Max would be winning races Leclerc bins.
Did Max win yet? Not sure we need to watch tomorrow. Norris, LeClerc and Piastri screwed up. Hamilton phoned it in.
There is Max: TITAN ATOP OLYMPUS..... and some other drivers. He's preparing to leave f1 as it becomes knit and purl next year - just little old techies doing battery management - f1 a cycle behind reality, thinking EV is still a thing when it's dead worldwide, destroying real racing for obsolete politics. I'll follow Max to see some racing... adios 2026 f1.
Räikkönen is the last WDC for Ferrari, eighteen years ago. Plus he had some success at Lotus during their brief return to Formula One. Image Unavailable, Please Login
