Hitting open twice quickly will open the trunk. however there is a setting in the vehicle set up to allow only the driver door to open pressing unlock on the fob. Check the set up to make sure you have it set up for both.
on my Range Rover you can set it one press opens only drivers door and 2 quick presses opens all of them . Your Roma must be the same and you should be able adjust it to one press opens all doors in the settings It’s more for security so no one jumps in while you’re the other side
Thanks! Changing the setting to open both doors does allow the passenger door to be openned from the outside. But it is odd to me that there is not a way to simply press the unlock icon in the car to unlock the passenger door. And yes - unlike many other cars, hitting the open button twice on the FOB opens the trunk but does not unlock the passenger door.
Thanks. But oddly enough hitting the open button on the FOB opens the trunk but does not unlock the passenger door.

My niece drove my 2003 E85 Z4 at auto cross today (she normally drives her ND Miata).
