Isn’t the charger warrantied?? I’d assume it is. And, curious, what is price of Ferrari charger?

Hi! Did you ever find a replacement F Charger? OEM Ferrari One or aftermarket?

I believe it is in the high $400 range on Suderia Parts or one of the Italian Ferrari parts sites I saw a few weeks ago.

Why buy the Ferrari branded one when you can get the better CTEK for less?

FYI. Most likely It’s not the charger it’s the connector on The car. Happened to me as well. The connector on the magnetic port of the car can go bad.

I have never seen the magnetic connector on the car fail. There are no moving part nor any friction fit connectors. I have, however, seen it become incapacitated due to ferrous debris kicked up from the road. I have never seen any charger-side connectors fail of their own volition either.

What I think happens is people take the magnetic plug off and just drop it on the concrete garage floor and they end up breaking the plug.

Unless the Pista charger is different from the 488 GTB version, I don't think the Ferrari charger provides enough amps to keep the battery charged if the alarm is on. I replaced the battery with a Lithium one and got a Lithium-capable 3A charger wired directly to the battery.

That would be user error then ;)

They're made of a durable composite. It takes a lot to break the connector itself. The wires are another story.

The only truly broken connector I've ever seen was run over by a car.

The Pista charger is a CTEK Lithium US (max output is 4.3A). 3A is not enough to supply power if the car remains awake for an extended period either, but the alarm timeout isn't all that long.
