Autocar weighed both the Vanquish and the 12cilindri

Which brings us to weight. When we put the Vanquish on the scales at Horiba MIRA, the readout said 1952kg split 51:49 front to rear, with the 82-litre fuel tank brimmed. We did the same for the Ferrari. Result: 1806kg split 48:52, with 92 litres on board.

Dry weight of the 12cilindri is a claimed 1,560kg/3,439lbs

Ferrari's advertised "weight" determined by their marketing dept, not their tech dept.

146 KG heavier! The Aston is significantly heavier. Why?

For current standards, I´d say it´s not too bad. Probably lighter than a 849.

Don't think so. The same magazine weighed the SF90 Stradale, which should be about the same as the 849:
"Fully fuelled and with plenty of options on board, our test car weighed 1698kg on the scales, making Maranello’s claim realistic enough." https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-review/ferrari/sf90-stradale
