Is there any plans to go back to grid girls vs grid kids. The whole grid kids thing has always seemed a little creepy....

Nope. But at least we get Lando's mum 10 times during most race broadcasts, normally at vital parts of the race..

So youth interested in racing - thats who many of them are, meeting real racing drivers, mechanics etc on the F1 grid is creepy. Have another drink. A question and thread in utterly poor taste you have started. You insinuate something ridiculous. Close this absurd thread.

Sorry to have hit a nerve.
Have you considered that the traditional grid girls were interested in racing as well...not to mention perhaps even real drivers themselves? IIRC that was the case for many races. Seems wrong to cut them off from opportunity. They too (would have) benefited from "meeting real racing drivers, mechanics etc on the F1 grid".
Heck, in Austin the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders were the grid girls...have you watched the netflix series on what it takes to be a DCC? Those gals are true studs to make that team let alone stay on the team. Side note: Bill Clinton was at the same ATX F1 race, maybe 100 feet from me. He truly appreciated the DCC grid girls...(all of them walked right past him).
