Looks like we are living parallel lives - Congrats. I am sure sitting in your "new" 512TR brought back some great feelings / emotions. I am going through a major, a repaint, and electrical system upgrade and new stereo if you ever want to connect directly.
We should 100% connect on that - would love to hear and compare notes. It’s so interesting getting used to the car again. The car seems to be pretty sorted, the driving position I had honestly forgot about / the steering wheel could use more adjustment, however that is the charm. The lines are ridiculously good IMHO, quite possibly my favorite car - in regards to aesthetics. Been on 4 rides so far with about 100 miles so the shakedown is going well. More power then I recall, the brakes with no ABS work great - easy to lock up. Fingers crossed she’s a good car!
Congrats! She's a beauty! Similar story here ....... I have had 5 of them over the last 32 years, and every time I decide to try something newer, I end up going back to one. Its been about 10 years as well since my last one and I've finally come to the conclusion that all these newer Ferraris are just not for me, and its ok to admire them from afar. (Yes, I'm a slow learner ..Lol). So I'm on the lookout for a nice Red / Tan preferably euro, driver quality that can be my happily ever after fun car.
