Wait are these secondary or the primary cat bypasses? Could you share the overall length? I would be interested if they would work to sub/swap out my primary cats on my 512TR.

At least on late Testarossas/512TRs/512M, the secondary cats are large Y pipes which connect to the x4 headers > the twin cats.

The primary cats on the other hand are two units which and downstream of above and connect to the muffler/silencer. Primary cat bypasses look like, well, that ^^.

The ones posted by OP Mark sits just upstream of the muffler and replaces the main cats. The ones posted by Edoug replaces the pre-cats.

I believe there are length differences between US and Euro exhaust components since the latter never came with cats presumably. If you're wanting to see if these will fit a 512 instead of a TR, I would check if the stock part numbers are the same or different and go from there.

Correct, I was being polite. The overall length would answer for me quickly as I have OEM cats sitting in my parts collection.

Anyone have a set of the pre-cat bypass pipes lying around they want to sell?! I am having the cats replaced with test pipes like the ones Mark has listed (had I not already ordered a set I would be buying these) but was undecided on changing out the pre-cats. Thanks.
