WHAT?!?!?!?! I had no idea that "that" could be done! If you have any suggestions on how I would go about searching for someone that could do that, please let me know.
Mine were done by the local leather repair guy used by all the high end car dealers near me. He also fixed a small nail indentation in the leather on my steering wheel. That was all over 5 years and about 6k miles ago and everything still looks perfect.
That's a REALLY great 2 car combo, congrats! Borrowed my buddies Boxster for a bit last summer and have to say it looks right at home in the garage with a 360 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congrats, she's a beauty but I'm biased A note on the speedo, it reads about 10% high in my experience with 3 different 360's. So that probably helped you with the speeding issue.
Ya, it's funny that you should mention that - on some of the roadside radar locations I noticed that up to about 60 mph and below I was reading 2-3 mph high (similar to my Porsches), but at 80 mph it was about 7 mph high. It's odd that it's such a large gap at that speed.
Need more info on this… any idea what paint is used? I have black on my headrest and want to go silver
I think it’s the same dye/paint used when they repair worn leather like side bolsters. He just mixed up a color match to the stitching and instead of spraying it, he used a steady hand and a brush.
Beautiful car! Great story. Sounds like my story 20 years ago. Good luck, from another fellow engineer.
