0528MD had a standard Scaglietti body. Our mystery Mondial had the late Scaglietti series body with large side vents. Kare thinks it was the prototype for this series. 0534MD could be this one as it was raced later in South America like our mystery Mondial.

Same body but is it still the same car ? Image Unavailable, Please Login Julio Pola in a strange LHD spyder at 1957 Venezuelan Grand Prix (one of the preliminary races). Many sources give this LHD spyder as 0534MD converted to LHD but Julio Pola raced 0562MD. Has the history of both cars been mixed up ?
Antonio Pucci was the First winner of the Targa Florio. https://www.rainews.it/tgr/sicilia/video/2024/01/targa-florio-centanni-dopo-antonio-pucci-biografia--6912a0bb-ce5d-40ed-b5b5-50bdf8021a27.html
I always wondered how he got one of the factory Scaglietti spyders (the last series with the large side vents like 0562MD) ?
Image Unavailable, Please Login We can also note that he raced the 166 Inter Ghia coupe 0049S with Francesco Faraco at 1951 Giro di Sicila with #413 (pic from the Targa Florio forum).
'The Targa' is the most ancient race ever. Pucci having won it, caught Mr. Ferrari's eye. Never a slouch at spotting a winning propostion for the factory.
Never said he did not. His father had raced it in also, and Mr Ferrari found Mr. Pucci way later as you well know. The video confirms his victory in '64 My bad syntax
