Can anyone tell me if the vin is stamped on the 488 engine? I found the stamp underneath with f154xxx and then 6 digits after. But the 6 digits don’t match my vin. Dealer also said those 6 don’t come back to any car. Is there another spot or what are the 6 digits? Thanks

You've probably found the engine number - see the diagrams in owners manual p27/28/29 for more details

I don’t see anything about engine vin on those pages. Are the 6 digits on engine supposed to match vin or do they correspond to something else? Is there a location on the engine that shows vin number?

EIN - "engine internal number" which ends in six-digits will not be the same as your VIN. My VIN ends in 226319 and here is a pic of my "engine internal number" from my "attestato per vetture allestimenti speciali" book on my car.

Is there a way to link the engine number to a vin if not in original car? Dealer said they cant so it?

I would assume Ferrari has a build sheet that links all numbers together (VIN, assembly #, engine #, gearbox #...)
