What about chassis 0528 MD instead of 0534MD?

0528MD had a standard Scaglietti body.
Our mystery Mondial had the late Scaglietti series body with large side vents. Kare thinks it was the prototype for this series. 0534MD could be this one as it was raced later in South America like our mystery Mondial.

    E. Fernandez Moran at 1966 El Castaño (Venezuela). Same body but is it still the same car ?

Julio Pola in a strange LHD spyder at 1957 Venezuelan Grand Prix (one of the preliminary races).

Many sources give this LHD spyder as 0534MD converted to LHD but Julio Pola raced 0562MD. Has the history of both cars been mixed up ?

'The Targa' is the most ancient race ever.
Pucci having won it, caught Mr. Ferrari's eye. Never a slouch at spotting a winning propostion for the factory.

Never said he did not. His father had raced it in also, and Mr Ferrari found Mr. Pucci way later as you well know. The video confirms his victory in '64
    My bad syntax :)

Impossible to read on Boudewijn’s pic but it should be « FR 12382 » like the 1955 Giro di Sicilia.

Are you talking about 0048 M?
If so, are you saying 0048 M raced at the 1955 Giro di Sicilia? Or not?

Just so you know, that photo from Mitholz-Kandersteg 1955 (of 0048 M and also the one of 0134 E, post #2358) is mine. Not the late Boudewijn.

Willemin raced 0048 M on Swiss license plates from Geneva "GE 27244" and then on "GE 2198" as well. The next owner had it re-registered "GE 31972". Thereafter it went to the Swiss cantons Valais (VS) in June 1958 and then Vaud (VD) in August 1962. I have all the paperwork for this. Got it in 1977 when I discovered 0048 M in Malley, years before a certain C.C. of B. claimed he "found" the car..........

No Marcel. I was talking about the pic on post #2386 of the Touring Barchetta raced by Carmine Diaferia with #108 at Coppa Nissena.
This car is 0006M and should have « FR 12382 » plates at Coppa Nissena.

Reference was made to posts 2387 and 2388...........and a 166 MM Touring BERLINETTA mentioned by SireBruno (post 2387) ..........I think a Berlinetta and a Barchetta is not the same.........
