So Max is done with his stint.

Chris Lulham is in the #31 Ferrari GT3 with a 1:03sec lead with an Hour and 22 min to go.

So lets get this straight

Max wins Monza

Next weekend he flies to the ring and speedruns his vln license + gets a class win whilst at it (ok, leeway here only 3 people in said class)

Next weekend flies to Baku, wins

Then flies to the ring again and now, if everything keeps going as is, will win this race too, beating seasoned nurburgring professionals including the current lap record holder and also 3x 24hr winner as his competiton.

Max has won a race in a Ferrari before Lewis even got a podium

 

Verstappen/Lulham win the Nurburgring NLS

 

Max is eligible for the 24hr race at the Nurburgring for 2026.....should he be able to race in it given the 2026 F1 calendar.

Reminiscent of the greats of the 50s and 60s - always racing something. It’s nice to see.

 

It's a depressing perspective. Max who lives and breathes racing spent his weekend winning a GT3 race at the Nürburgring - in a Ferrari nonetheless. Meanwhile Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton was supposed to attend one of Elkann's love child Ferrari fashion shows in Milan, but ultimately was unable to attend (Sad circumstances but at least he didn't have to look at the ugly high fashion clothes)

 

Max needs to step-up his game and buy a 499P

More seriously, wouldn't mind a factory-supported Verstappen/Red Bull team racing 296s in the IMSA and WEC series.

 

Think that's his plan later on in his career. Won't be the 296 by that time, but perhaps F1 will bore him quick enough for it to happen with the 296 replacement model
