Each to their own. I imagine a collector that has a lot of different cars who is successful, most likely runs his own business, and has more money than time. There are many people here who you would describe as idiots.

That's a harsh comment. Idiots don't need such insults.

    One collection to the next….

Rare and sky is the limit…..

Anyone that wants a manual 575 should just convert one and drive and enjoy.

I bought my 575 with 5200 miles. I actually think the collector guys do a great service, because they keep the car pristine for guys like me to enjoy!

I made a model for valuation of 575 manual and according to it this car should have been around 390 considering this was 360 it was close to what the model would consider an estimate. They wheels are valuable and maybe this are not as valuable being not original on the car.
575 is really a car to drive and enjoy I think factory gated can be used and driven and in time there will be people that want cara that can be driven with out loosing a lot of money for using it 3.000 miles

    That’s interesting.
I was likely using a different VIX component in my model cause I was coming up with $329k.
Ultimately a great car regardless of what value or price someone puts on it.

ps small data set makes it challenging plus for posterity we should have the vin in this thread

This one had Daytona seats, 19 wheels and carbon interior. Plus just 6k miles. The one in broad arrow las month was a 320 in my model and 318 result. I had mine more based in Euro market and the dollar devaluation could hurt them more now. I think it was a good offer but had more potential but I think if you have a car in auction you must be prepared to get 90% of your valuation

I agree with the reserve being high but I am biased of course. I’ve experienced a bunch of old and modern cars this summer, and 575 is amazingly still on top for me. Plenty of power, on par with modern cars, but feels much more exciting since the primitive stability control allows lots of movement. Only car I liked better was f50, but that is another level!

There's no way to tell on Bringatrailer if the reserve has been met other than the owner indicating that (until the auction ends)

575s do not have stability control.

Crazy….i would have sold it. There was a crazy purchase number for a 360cs just a bit ago. Maybe the 575 guy wanted that kind of number $600k!

To those who track the market for 575 manuals may I ask what an Argento 25k mile , low optioned car (Tubi , silver calipers) is worth in this market? I realise there are a ton of other factors involved but I'm looking for a ballpark range.
    Thanks in advance

Steve, your profile doesn’t show and I don’t recall are you in the US?

I have in the notes on my phone that when I went through the registry and Nathan‘s book it showed 14 Argento manual 575 ever imported into the US… For fun I’ll go and check and see how many were 2004…..standby

116 total *approx* manual 575’s exported to the US.

    41 Rosso Corsa
    24 Grigio Titanio
    17 Nero
    14 Argento
    4 Grigio Alloy
    3 Grigio Ingrid
    3 Blue Pozzi
    3 TdF
    2 Azzuro Calfornia
    2 Giallo Modena
    1 Blu NART
    1 Verde Zeitweg
    1 “unlisted color” (#133720)

don’t forget his registry isn’t perfect…..the car in this thread in the book registry was wrong as it listed the car with a different color combo and as F1 not 6MT

Steve from the registry it looks like in 2004 there are only two in argento.

I see the one you are looking at probably has a Nero interior and an assembly number of 52161? Registry shows alloy calipers, shields, Grigio stitching and the tubi.

The problem on these limited cars is you get two guys that want one specific combo and sky is the limit.

the other Argento over carbone is chassis 134923 and it has FHP, Rosso calipers, shields, and Daytonas with Grigio stitching.

Helps the one you are looking at has driver miles as that will take out a bunch of the potential buyers.

If it were my money….i’d have deGroot and Robin convert a 2004….all the fun and probably half the price of an OEM.

I have to get ready to coach a soccer game today but if I have time later I can post up the whole list for US Manual 575s…..

Being in Canada is a wildcard that would pull it down in a sale.

Wonder if it would make a monetary difference to invest the time and money to get it Titled in Montana and have a broker like WOB list it for you.

If I were selling the basics apply….
    a major belt service and
    a cosmetic detail and
    assure no other questions/issues and
list it on BaT and all your fchat friends will adore it in the comments and pump it up.

    I’m with @ifeelfree0 I wouldn’t take a reserve under $250k.
