458 to 430?

From my limited understanding, it’s more than just a tune. Sounded more like gearbox parts as well. I’d imagine that would have to be the case? We’ll see I guess

 

I had a 458 sold it then bought a F430 with full intent to do a manual conversion on, but i didnt sell the 458 to get a 430, I sold the 458 to get a speciale and then just missed the boat on the prices going up. So I bought a F430 and did the conversion. To me after driving the DCT 458 I couldnt handle the slow F1 so within a month I sent out the car for the conversion. The F430 is the last analog car and to me has to be in gated form, its the only way I would keep it. Driving the 430 in a manual is just so amazing. Last year I bought my 458 back from the owner I sold to. Both cars are spiders. I love my 458 for the modern drives when I want a comfortable easy newer car,458 sounds better too. ..my 458 even though its DCT still has a little kick when up shifting at full throttle. And I love my converted to 16manual 430 for its rawness and analog feeling. With both cars checks every box i need, best of both (except I wish my 458 was a speciale),. I wouldn't know which cars to sell if i had to let go of one, But If I can only have a manual 430 or a 458 its the 458 for me. But to answer your question...I dont think your going to be happy with going from 458 to a F430, you either need both or keep the 458
