    Hi guys,

I’m trying to get ahold of a new bonnet insulation to get a more fresh look under the hood. It seems like all the UK spare part sites never has it in stock. Any idea how to get ahold of one?

    64563800 Part number for 550
66402400 Part number for 575 (i assume it fits?)

Mine is “ok” but if any are found I would absolutely take one as well for my “spares” hoard.

To protect the paint on the hood because it's in aluminum.

Great question. I could use new hood, or "bonnet" insulation for my 550. Some U.S. sources like Ricambi and GT Car Parts show unavailability. All Ferrari Parts in Ohio shows a price of $448.75 but subject to availability. Scuderia Car Parts in the U.K shows a price of $542.13, not sure of availability. Maranello Classic Parts in U.K. shows (apparent) availability, price is POA. Guess it's worth a few emails or phone calls to find out for sure.

It's still available -- but we don't supply it because the last several we got were folded in half and heavily creased. They looked like crap, and basically unsaleable. I tossed them into the dumpster and refunded the customers that had special-ordered them from me.

Shipping it 'full size' from Ferrari, it's basically the dimension of the bonnet itself, so the freight costs would be astronomical (on top of the duty/brokerage if you purchase from outside the United States).
