Car Storage North East Phoenix/Scottsdale

I’d like to store 2 cars in the Scottsdale area. OTTO has a ridiculous rate imo and everything for sale is also insane up here. I’m not paying $1m for a 30x40 storage garage. Hanger at the airport is unobtanium. I have a regular self storage unit, but it’s really dusty and there’s no outlet for a tender. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Rick - perhaps an RV storage place would work. I have our RV stored (covered) at Carefree in Chandler, however they have many enclosed units there although I do not know the price. Occasionally a garage is freed up here in Fountain Hills for reasonable money.... I'll keep an eye open for you.

Side note; Not wanting to pay around $250 a month to store my boat, I snagged a private residence via FB Marketplace in Buckeye 5 miles from my house for $75 a month. The guy has a 1.5 -acre lot with surveillance cams in back of his home with a fob-controlled gate. Nice guy too! BTW, I did price indoor storage as you did and found nothing under $750 a month!

 

I haven’t found anything. Luckily a buddy just finished building a huge garage, so they’re in there for now. Lux in Chandler has reasonable units starting at just over $100k, but it’s 20 plus minutes round trip for me. That said similar garage units in Scottsdale are $850k+.

Thanks. I’ve got temporary solution for now, but I want to buy something. $1k/mo for storing 2 cars is what I’m finding at these type of places (OTTO etc). That just doesn’t make sense to me. I’ll probably buy a smaller commercial building for not much more than a toy barn and have a real asset.
