12 Cylindri Spider picture and comment thread

I know when I sat in a coupe, with Racing Seats, there was plenty of headroom and that with the ‘comfort’ seats, for me, there’s a lack of headroom!
I’m 6’3” and long in the body!

 

On a previous topic - has anyone seen pictures of a spider with the rear section repainted body color instead of gloss black?
My Rosso Imola Spider is ‘in transit’ and I’m seriously considering having that section repainted but leave the ‘lip’ in black so it frames the rear light cluster.
Could be a leap of faith here! Or a disaster!!

No I’ve not sat in a Spider yet! So this is a complete leap of faith that I’ve enough headroom!! I know that isn’t the case in the previous V8 series 458/488/F8.
I’m OK in the 812 so surely the 12C-S will be fine ……. otherwise it’s going to be a very short ownership!! Graham

 

I am also 6’3” and I was perfectly fine in the coupe, especially when the glass roof is part of the spec. It adds a couple of inches.

 

Is this confirmed that the glass roof gives more head room? I know in some cars it takes away headroom. I am 6'4" and massive. Sat and drove the coupe (no glass roof) and I fit, but not a ton of space to spare. If the glass roof adds headroom I will go for it!

Yeap. I can try and post some pictures on Monday. My buddy is bringing his car over to keep in my garage for a few days.

 

I sat in a 12C coupe with the glass roof option. There is a little more headroom owing to the lack of the sound deadening material and the headliner layer.

 

Is the glass insulated so there is still not so much outside noise?

I’ll find out someday when ours is released - just passing the time.

Its absolutely fine. I love how are are all nitpicking about everything untill we get our cars

 

The glass is one of the more interesting options

Strangely similar effect to seeing a bright yellow convertible Rolls Royce A boutique in Beverly Hills used to park theirs in front of the store. Now it’s a yellow SF 90 spider (triple layer)

 

There will be less space in convertible vs in the coupe due to rear wall design. You may try to sit in 812 GTS, it should be quite similar. You may also consider having racing seats in your 12Cilindri Spider, they should give you more space.

 

My SF90 XX is Blu Stephanie, so it’s still very much a current (albeit very rare) color. Atelier introduced me to the color, describing it as the Rosso Magma of the blue family.

 

did you consider blu torrice or blu toscan? why did you choose blu stephanie? asking because I am also considering one of these colors.

Curious…how many people have received the 3rd and final production photo on their 12C? I never received my final photo for my 812 GTS, but I have noticed several have posted their 12C final photos.

 

I have received the photo but as you know, not the car.

 

Cars I believe are sitting at port! My car shipped April … lmao ))) Ferrari is the worst with sharing info ….
