328 GTS Leather Touchup

After he previously reported minor projects, such as the washer pump replacement and antenna fix, this weekend it was time to touch up the upholstery leather in my 328 GTS. The car previously already had received a full replacement of the upholstery, but still some wear on where you get in was getting very visible.

This was a scary project, since finding a perfectly matching color seemed very hard. I tried my luck with Clyde's leather touch up. After several very careful tries, starting at non visible places, and applying just the right amount of touch up followed by some careful distribution with a soft sponge, I think the result came out reasonably well. What do you think? I am also including a top level view, since the light plays tricks with the colors on pictures.

Any tips for doing this even better are welcome!
