Not my specialty, but under the circumstances of you joining your daughter while she attends school, I would consult one of the main shipping companies and inquire about a temporary import bond.

What is happening to F50 prices?
    • Australian yellow F50 for sale: owner just rejects $8.2m offer
    • Silver F50 of DK Engineering. Sold. Ask was $8.5m just before and during Monterey Week
    • French-owned yellow F50 which was for sale (ask £6.2m inclusive of commissions) now under offer
    • Owner of yellow F50 in the US refers comfortably to his car as a $9m one (Shmee took my 9 million dollar Ferrari!) . This car was not so long ago sitting at Bingo Japan not selling for a year or so. (Nice video by the way with both the driver and passenger expressing the happiness-while-in-an-F50 very persuasively)
    • Low mileage red F50 bought by UK broker in June/July from HK getting recommissioned now prior to sale (based on purchase price, transport, import duty and recommissioning costs and profit, it will not be much below $8m - close to £6m)
    • The owner of a yellow F50 in a class all by itself receives a message from a heavyweight in the business ‘would you contemplate $10m for yours’.
Confidence in price growth seems to be swelling since Monterey Week last month. And this despite the tariffs in the US

Therefore one might be tempted in believing that we are getting into another growth cycle after a lull of 3 years. In which case owners should sit on their cars unless really tempted.

But one should realise that CAGR gets restricted when cars get more expensive...

…As well as keep in mind all the economic and geo-political challenges around.

It’s all getting very interesting , we are in the process of trying to secure an orginal owner F50 and 288 GTO at present.. but the numbers are north of 18 million for both cars.. both sub 3k miles.. Owner wants a lot more.. not sure if we are going to get this done.

Since QE was mentioned in those screenshots, I will add that Bessent has gone on record as saying the Fed made mistakes for a long time by doing QE and driving up asset prices and that he wants the Fed balance sheet down trillions and also to have short term rates low. Actions speak louder than words so we'll see if we do get more QT and a lower Fed balance sheet and no more QE. If that is the case, asset prices will stall imo. The F50 in addition to others, but the F1 as mentioned has already stalled for a few years for reasons as said in those slides.

The one brand name missing from the big 3 (F1, CLK GTR, and GT1)was Ferrari and it took some time and I think it ended up being the F50 and literally it has been an explosion in price but I am babbling right due to being over served too much hundred acre red wine.

Ferrari Media Slides F50 for journalists. The first Ferrari F50 Test since the Geneva Show in March 1995. Ferrari did not do an Official Test on this car. The Ferrari F50 was driven by a test driver on the Slides and then the slides were sent to motoring journalists. I got them from an editorial office that was partially deleting its Archive.

Hi Gordon, thanks for the message.

During my time associated with the F50 I have manage to put together 4 or 5 complete exhaust systems and source many individual parts to return several F50's back to factory standard systems. The last 2 exhaust systems took over 3 years to find certain parts, and even then I think I got lucky, it is now becoming an impossible task!

So what you have is a very rare collection of exhaust parts. Although in your description you mention "precats" - I am not aware of the F50 system having "precats", just 2 main catalysts - maybe you mean another component within the system, the header to cat connector pipes?

Currently I don't have a requirement for an F50 system, but if someone out there does, this is a huge opportunity, as I have the 2 main Catalysts that your system is missing, I know another collector that has 2 original rear boxes with valves - so potentially there is the opportunity here to create a completely standard factory F50 exhaust system!!

Gordon, maybe you could post photos of what you have so we can fully access all the parts and what is needed to complete a full system?

here are some photos of the pair of catalysts....
Part No: 163026 - on an F50 left & right Cats are the same part number and are fully interchangeable. i.e. the same part.......
