    Hi everyone,

I have a 296 with a high-voltage battery in protection mode. DTC P1D84. Has anyone been able to remove it this way?

The dealership wants to replace the high-voltage battery.

    Thank you.

but my car is an independent import, they don't give a warranty.
Either I try to fix it myself or I have to send it to Italy, where the vehicle was purchased from.

In theory the warranty is global so it should not matter where the car now is provided main dealer servicing has been maintained

Car that change markets from production have warranty voided unless it goes into a market with the same build certifications. Canada to US is an example is fine with perhaps a Speedometer replacement and daytime running lamps. Euro to US or Middle east to US would lose warranty coverage. I would suspect Eruo to San Paulo would be similar.
