    I noticed recently that my F430 has leaked some motor oil on the left side of the engine, opposite the oil filter. The car sat for 3 weeks but was leak free before. Nothing obvious that I can see from the top of the engine and after removing the rear diffuser so I will have to remove the other covers underneath for further inspection. Any area I should be looking at that's a known for leaks ?

    I’m thinking valve covers also. See if you can snug up the valve cover bolts. That may stop the leak.

    What would be the best way to snug up the bolts? Break them loose first and then torque-to-spec? Or just give them an extra ugga-dugga?

    The rocker joint is only £23 each, do it right .
