Thank you for the kind advice, I am well aware of it, but I am interested in this specific group and the Dino group.

Hope I did not make a nuisance of myself.

    Regards,
    Alberto

There are a few of us from the States going, and we discussed possibly putting together a group dinner for Thursday night in Bologna. So far, I know of the following attending; myself, Martin Clark, Jeff Hillegas, Stuart Field, Todd Routi, and Matthias Bartz -- all F-chatters! We all talked about it while at FCA Nationals last week.

    Great News Glenn!

I only know Matthias quite well, but will be looking fwd. to meeting all the guys from f-chat.
I am here in Bologna already due to our coffee business, and will be bouncing all over through the month.

My phone in Italy is: 344 692 three nine six three.
Feel free to call anytime when in Italy. My sister is 30 minutes away from Bologna, and staying at her house near Imola ( the track).

As far as dinner, I can arrange whatever you desire in advance.

    Kind regards,
    Alberto

Alberto -sorry for my delayed response! Let's see if we can arrange a dinner for everyone to get together. From speaking with everyone in my group, it appears as though Thursday would be the best day.

Another year, another Bologna. Head's up on meeting there?

I know some from last year will be there, anybody new?

As an aside, an extremely kind gent from the AlfaBB, gave me his tickets as he had to cancel. Free !!!
Hope the weather will be decent.

    See you there!
    Regards,
    Alberto

Hi Ed, I see that you are having hip replaced! You are in luck, I have Italian hip parts available:

Ferrari parts with Ferrari shield embossed (but made by local Modena artisan shop - as we know, Ferrari makes nothing)
Classiche certification available (requires follow-up surgery to confirm that you actually have matching numbers installed, must use approved Milan hospital)

Hip parts kit (confirm right side): 16,000 euro ($18,750 due to dollar decline from insults to allies)
    Tariff 25%: $4,688
    Customs processing fee: $1,172
Classiche Hip Red Book fee: $17,000
    Mafia/Camorra/High Table tribute fee: $17,000
    Subtotal: $58,610
5% friends and family discount for cash: (-$2,931)
    Your cost: $55,679
    Shipping: $320
    Total cost: $55,999 (say $56,000)
    Terms:
Installation not included (any Ferrari Factory trained mechanic can do it…)
Classiche certification only valid for original install
No warranty – but available for additional cost.

Let me know (only three kits available, two left, one right – high demand from retried multi-millionaires who need approved hip parts to be accepted at Ferrari tour events). Best, Chris

Have the “sticky” issues been resolved or can one expect seats & wardrobe to get soiled in use of these hips ? ;)
