Do you guys know, did that 330 live in Sydney in the mid to late 80s? The guy used to really give it the berries in the supersprints. Chirped 3rds (I'm presuming) every lap in the same spot on pit wall at Amaroo. Impressed this already indoctrinated youth. Good stuff!
That was David Levy's 365GTC and yes, he was a spirited driver (and a great bloke). The car was probably only making 200-ishRWHP so the chirping may have been a result of aged and hard tyres. It's been thoroughly rebuilt since then, a healthy 365 is 320hp at the crank.
Interesting conundrum if you were an up $1.5 mill Ferraristi in Aussie at the moment. If the Lotto fell my way I'd choose this and not the 365GTB 4
